How to draw a Polar Bear side view

Speed snorkeling pays off. This huge male brown bear caught one salmon after another in a river almost completely devoid of fish. This year, I saw the lowest return of chum and pink salmon ever on the eastern side of the Alaska peninsula and the west side of Kodiak. Many of the bears that would normally be down in the rivers, fishing for salmon were gone- foraging in the mountains and elsewhere- and many of these bears were thinner than normal. Salmon are a critical food source for many species

Making her bed. A young brown bear digs a day bed near the river. Bears will often dig a nest in sand, soil or vegetation for napping. An old familiar face. I’ve watched this older male brown bear for several years. He’s probably in his 20’s now, but seems to be in good health.
