I have green goblin that started about the size of yours it's about 12 inches underwater with a hydra 52 directly above it set at 65%blue and 10% white. It has grown into a small colony in about 8 months.

2021年10月2日 · Green is a common color and hard to get rid of frags if it overgrows. I learned that lesson with a green slimmer and couldn’t give that away. I personally like the high end stuff that brings a big price tag. I’ve been very successful getting 10x my money back on high end frags. It’s better colors and mades more $ to buy other high end frags.

2022年3月19日 · A UV sterilizer (even the cheap ones on Amazon) will clear up the green water. The rock is a different story. CUC can help but I’ve had a lot of success with H202 dosing and manual siphoning. If possible, reducing photoperiod and intensity with your lights will help too.

2024年10月12日 · I've added 4 green Chromis in to my tank about 3 days ago. I'm UK based and purchased these from a online retailer. One of the Chromis has not eaten at all. He is less active and I mostly see him in the corner of the tank on his own. There are no obvious markings and I don't see any bullying from the other fish. I am seeing an excretion.

2024年8月2日 · Nothing hairy, just bright green algae that won’t scrub off, and even the snails can’t get it off. Under the blue lights it looks brown, but these pics are with the lights out and just the room lights on. I had the brown dinos for a week or two. MicrobactorClean and UV at night seems to have gotten them under control.

2019年12月16日 · The decision is honestly easy at this point - I cannot realistically catch and remove all fish and inverts (without euthanizing them all and separating epoxied rock work), it seems likely that my display will be okay even with the parasite present, and it seems unlikely that I wouldn't reintroduce the parasite at some point in the future.
