Walmart drivers travel approximately 700 million miles every year, delivering products to our stores—all while remaining one of the largest and safest private fleets in the world. 2022年4月7日 · Now, we have launched the first-ever Walmart Private Fleet Development Program. Over the course of a 12-week program, supply chain associates in the Dallas, Texas, and Dover, Delaware, areas earned their commercial driver’s license (CDL) and became full-fledged Private Fleet Walmart drivers.

2023年1月18日 · The Associate-to-Driver program allows participants to learn driving from the best of the best – our current Walmart driving instructors. Our fleet is continually recognized for its commitment to safety. In fact, the American Trucking Association has awarded Walmart the Safest Fleet in the Over 250 Million Mile Division for six consecutive years.

During the 12-week program, associates earn their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and practice the skills and safety required to join the “best of the best”— the Walmart Private Fleet. Most associate-turned-drivers have similar reactions to their first time at the wheel, but each applied to the program for different reasons.
