2025年1月9日 · "We are slammed right now," Johnson County Emergency 911 Director Kevin Colson was heard on the scanner on Friday, January 3, around noon as the first significant snow of 2025 hit the county. Within minutes of the snow accumulating, Johnson County 911 dispatchers were buried with traffic-related calls, waking residents to the reality of winter's arrival and its effect on the area roadways.
