This literature review was a first step in a multiyear project to understand illegal trade threats facing Asian elephants in the Greater Mekong Sub-region, and will inform conservation and policy measures.

A new global treaty – EIA Reports
The passing of a UN Environment Assembly (UNEA) resolution (decision) on 2 nd March 2022 entitled ‘End plastic pollution: Towards an international legally binding instrument’ means that such a treaty will be negotiated by the end of 2024.EIA and our partners are continuing to play our critical role as thought leaders and advisors, helping to hold those with power to account.
