Even when Beterbiev seemed to let Bivol unload it seemed like he was just giving Bivol the opportunity to tire with no real concern of getting hurt.

2022年5月9日 · Ward would be favored but I would give Bivol a decent shot. Bivol did just as good against Barrera as Ward did. Ward doesn't have great power. Very few in the boxing world gave Bivol a shot except Bradly, Diaz and Atlas against Canelo. Mayweather put 10k on him.

Based on my scoring I had Bivol up by two points (as did many others) but I readily concede there were many basically even/swing rounds and there is a very reasonable way to score it a draw or even a close win for Beterbiev.

2024年10月12日 · I didn’t score rounds, but it really felt like Bivol pretty much out boxed Beterbiev for a large majority of the fight with like 2 or 3 shaky moments… It seemed to me that Bivol won clearly in a competitive bout. Interesting how different people’s perspectives can be. When I heard the decision, I felt like it was a robbery.

2024年10月12日 · I had Beterbiev by 2, but it was a hard fight to score as Bivol was landing the more eye catching shots. Beterbiev's shots however, were much more damaging and forced Bivol into retreat, that never helps your cause with the judges. Regardless, I'd have no issue with anyone saying Bivol by 1 or 2, it was a close fight.
