Caleb, son of Yefuneh (or Chetzron, but more on that later), was born in the year 2408 from Creation1 (1353 BCE), 40 years before the Exodus from Egypt. He rose to prominence at a young age and was appointed chief of the noble tribe of Judah.

Caleb, a prominent figure in the Hebrew Bible, is best known for his faithfulness and courage as one of the twelve spies sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan. His lineage and descendants hold significant roles in the biblical narrative, particularly within the tribe of Judah.
