2011年12月7日 · Built a raised bed lean to with my 8 x10 tarp, added my Walmart 5x7 as the rain increased, it performed well. I used my other tarp just to keep wood, glad I did. 37 degrees outside and sweating in the shelter when I had to fire roaring. Found some brick and grill in the farm trash pile, had good coffee, bacon and bannock.

If you expect rain, pack a double-wall tent, which produces less condensation than a single-wall tent. A model with a large vestibule(s) is helpful, too; it provides a sheltered spot for your boots and pack, as well as a place to crouch to take rain gear off, thereby keeping your inner tent dry.
