2023年8月9日 · I’m looking to invest in the best overall Baitcaster for general purpose fishing. Would like to use on my primary rods; plastics, crank baits, etc.. Interested in spending more that I typically do, so looking for best options in the $500-$1,000 range.

2022年7月9日 · For decades, I have been buying almost all of my fishing equipment from eBay (both used and new). I have taken a chance on cheap reels over the years with various results. Many were junk, while others have been jewels. I purchased these freedom fly reels over a decade ago for $0.99 on eBay and I am still using them as my freshwater reels today.

He said the last few he bought 2 out of 3 reels screamed horribly when casting. These are $250 reels, so he contacted a few people and found out that Daiwa was starting to use a less expensive bearing than the previous years to save money, so he no longer buys them anymore. The ones that worked good are sweet reels for sure.
