Carmel High School is a four-year comprehensive high school with approximately 5,300 students in grades 9-12. It is fully accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.

Carmel High School students are fortunate to be at Indiana's largest high school with a wide range of opportunities for participation. The phrase, "You can make a big school small, but you can't make a small school big" is heard frequently at Carmel and similar schools.

2 天之前 · Classes are arranged on a block eight schedule of four 90-minute periods per regular school day. School days comprising periods one through four are designated "blue" days and alternate with days comprising periods one through four which are designated "gold" days.

By modeling professional behavior, valuing respect and safety, and priding ourselves on the positive relationships we have built with our outstanding School Resource Officers, we strive to help students develop goals to become lifelong learners and socially-minded citizens.

During their first three years at Carmel High School, students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in rigorous courses, including honors, dual-credit, Project Lead the Way (PLTW), Advance College Project (ACP), Advanced Placement (AP), and International Baccalaureate (IB).

Carmel High School offers one of the nation’s best performing arts programs for freshmen through seniors. The entire community attends outstanding choir, band, orchestra and theatre performances in the high school’s 1,500-seat Dale E. Graham Auditorium.

Carmel Clay Schools offers a guaranteed and viable curriculum to ensure all students have the learning opportunities needed to be prepared for the next grade level and, ultimately, successful in their post-graduation college or career endeavors.

The purpose of the Freshman Center is to provide CHS students with a seamless transition to high school, a sense of community and support to pursue a challenging curriculum. The educational experience offered by Carmel High School is like none other.
