So govee stuff is slowly, maybe gonna be supported and not require their apps/accounts etc? I believe someone recently asked Linus on an LTT WAN show that with them taking more Govee sponsor spots on videos etc if they were going to prod them about open source / HA or otherwise.. maybe this is a part of that?

The Govee app can setup basic schedules that will cycle themes and turn on or off devices, but for more advanced routines and smart home integration we suggest you use a home automation assistant such as Amazon Alexa, Google home, or Apple home.

2023年4月25日 · Welcome to Govee’s never ending nebulous naming conventions. Likely the same, but it’s usually in the smaller details where the “devil is hidden” such as using the same model number for the same product but the firmware is different (and not able to be updated on the older) rendering certain functionality unavailable for example.

2021年8月2日 · Just wanted to post to say thanks--setting up a segment with the odd-numbered LEDs (and changing the color order to GBR) worked perfectly for me. I accidentally fried the Govee control board, so switching to a WLED board allows to keep using the lights rather than having to chuck them (Govee doesn't seem to sell just a replacement board/switch).

2022年1月23日 · I'm a fairly new govee user myself, but in my experience I found better accuracy when my calibration was put slightly inwards away from the tv bezel as I believed that mine was looking at the bezel more than the actual screen. 2023年1月19日 · Can make scenes in Govee to add to the list but some default import onto Alexa. Create routine: when X happens, Perform action - smart home - groups - (this only lets you select solid colors, I just checked) You’d have to do smart home - select one of the devices. Then you get scene options, and you’d have to set up multiple actions.
