Very similar to Ten Sleep Canyon (US-16) farther south into Worland. Majestic red cliffs dotted with Cedar type trees. My vote would be on US-14 over 14A for scenery although it is a bit more twisty turny so requires a little more concentration driving. Between 14 and 16 I've always liked Ten Sleep (16 out of Buffalo) better.

U.S. 14 was not one of the original 1926 Wyoming U.S. Routes. The highway was designated to end at U.S. 16 in Wall, South Dakota, at that time. However, in 1936, it was extended via Rapid City, Spearfish, and Sturgis to enter Wyoming. U.S. 16 was rerouted through Custer and Newcastle, while the old U.S. 16 became the new U.S. 14.
