2013年3月21日 · And why are they 465 GB each? Shouldn’t it be 500 GB since it’s a 1 TB? I’m so sorry for bothering you with this. I just didn’t know what to do. By the way the WD External Drive I’m using is WDBBEP0010BBK-01. You should be able to merge them into one partition. Maybe a third party too will be easier to use.

I plugged one into my laptop and it showed only 465GB of available space right from the get-go. I went into Disk Management and tried to reformat it (wiping it clean and reformatting in exfat and NTFS). However, no change.

2024年5月23日 · So I bought a brand new WD Elements Desktop 18TB. But CrystalDiskInfo shows that it is a 500GB disk with already 2748 hours power on… Also not showing up under file explorer. Only visible in partition manager as 465GB unallocated space. Looks like somebody swapped out the larger disk for a small model as a scam.
