If I want to have a better wifi signal for my house ground floor (my modem is 2nd floor), would it be better to get a ignite wifi pod from shaw or a wifi extender (tp-link etc).

2023年6月11日 · In short, the pods do extend your wifi signal but can slow your gear down. 1.0 Gbps pods are being developed and will be available soon. Shaw pod is a satellite unit of a DUAL band mesh system. You can notice a larger range of coverage but the speed will drop. You can buy a set of triple band mesh routers and bridge it to your Shaw device.

You'll get some bleed of the WiFi signal outside of your apartment. Put your Bluecurve in bridged mode and use a third-party router with mesh capabilities and with available weatherproof extenders.

2021年8月5日 · The Shaw Pods are useless. I tried them. I have a split level house and have tried just about every brand of WiFi extenders. Nothing worked until I bought a Netgear Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 System (Advance Whole House WiFi) from Best Buy or London Drugs. It comes with a base unit and 2 satellite units.
