Our program is designed for you to take core classes primarily online at your convenience. Non-nursing and graduate classes, however, may be offered in person or as a blend of online and in-person classes at our Newark and New Brunswick campuses.

At Rutgers School of Nursing, you can earn your Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree along two tracks: Post-Baccalaureate and Post-Master of Science.

Our 37-credit program prepares nurses to effectively manage and communicate data that affect patient care and outcomes as well as other nursing research. Specialty courses are completed entirely online while 225 in-person clinical hours are facilitated with our clinical partners.
