Mike Johnson, his brother Mark, and his wife Joanie were the highlight of my trip this year. Long before I heard Mike play a note, I was struck by his genuine kind and humble spirit. We all know that steel player and nice guy generally go hand in hand, but Mike raises the bar!

Much praise to Mike Johnson and the band on Bill Andersons "Family Reunion" show on RFD TV. Mike is one of the best steel players on the planet...I relly enjoy watching the show..last night they featured Dallas Frazier, the guy who wrote "There Goes my Everything" and a bunch of other great hits..MJ did a great job on backup and solo work on the tune..what a great show.
