The Mảng (Chinese: 莽人; pinyin: Mángrén; Vietnamese: Mảng) are an ethnic group living primarily in Lai Châu, northwestern Vietnam, where they are one of Vietnams' 54 officially recognized ethnic groups. There are also about 500 Mảng living in the Yunnan province of southern China, where they are officially termed an undistinguished nationality.

They are one of the 54 groups of people in Vietnam. Mang (also known as Mang U and Xa La Vang) 4,650 people (2019 Census) Sin Ho, Muong Te, Phong Tho districts of Lai Chau Province; and Muong Cha District of Dien Bien Province.

Due to the harsh living conditions of the mountainous region, the Mang population barely increased over the years. In the 1950 national census, there were a total of 291 people in 59 Mang households; while in 2003, the population grew to 651, with 107 families.
