2011年8月12日 · Kinda sorta they were organized in 61-62 as Kansas Volunteer Cavalry Company that morfed into a regiment in Lanes Kansas Brigade Lane's Brigade was seemingly more concerned with " punishing" Disloyals " i.e. Citizens in Missouri, Indian Nations, and yes even Kansas regardless of actual loyalty so they were vested with military authority, but yes IMHO they were pseudo military.
