2011年2月9日 · I really don't want to pack rubber boots to wear for the three days in Venice at the end of our early April trip "just in case" of flooding. We won't be staying at a high end hotel of the sort that might supply boots. Any suggestions? Creative alternatives? I thought of plastic bags, but there is the slipperiness aspect. Might flood, might not, but doing that scoutly "be prepared" thing.

2018年3月17日 · Most rain boots are NOT walking shoes - they have no support, often have poor traction, and frankly you do not have time to break in a new pair of footwear at this late stage. Waterproof the shoes you plan to take, bring socks that dry quickly, and a rain jacket and umbrella should literally cover the rest of you.

2023年11月1日 · Hello, I have been to Italy in December where we had beautiful weather, a bit chilly in the mornings but sunny and only a bit of rain. I think any boots with a flat heel that are waterproof will be fine, and you can do price comparisons on google. I like Clarks for comfort. Or SAS. Happy Travels

2024年1月11日 · I agree with Balso. Hiking boots are overkill IMO. I prefer light, waterproof hikers or trail runners. I would not be super comfortable with non-waterproof shoes though.
