Change the temperature on your old thermostat so that your system starts heating or cooling. If you don’t hear or feel the system turn on within 5 minutes, the power is off. Note: If you have a digital thermostat that has a blank display, skip this step. On most thermostats, you can take off the thermostat by grasping and gently pulling.

2023年4月1日 · Before starting, turn the power off at the breaker box or switch. Separate the Junction Box Adapter from the Cover Plate. See Figure 1. Mount the Junction Box Adapter to the wall or an electrical box using any of the eight screw holes. Insert and tighten the mounting screws supplied with the Cover Plate Kit. Do not over-tighten. See Figure 2.
