As far as i know you have to manually enable them each time on the throttle control but I set up a hot key for them.

2019年12月6日 · Is there a way to change where the F18 afterburners are selected or will I need to play with the axis curve a little? Currently use an X52 and the burners are in well before the detent, probably at close to 70% throttle. It's causing me a few issues as I fly to the feel of that detent, it's as expected on my other aircraft. Thanks

2021年11月22日 · The F18 only has 2, with #1 being left and #2 right (I think). The control "afterburner" (no number) toggles all engines afterburners. On a side note, I find it interesting that they included keys for engine 3&4 afterburner. Correct me if I'm wrong but the only 4-engine jets I know of that have afterburners are the Concorde and Tupolev TU-144.

2015年11月28日 · When flying at high altitudes you should be flying at MACH. I don't know if the default FA-18 afterburners come on at a certain throttle setting. That can be checked in the aircraft.cfg. Could it be that CTRL+Shift+F4 ( Concorde afterburner) is used?
