My child’s father is a little over $5,000 behind on child support. He recently (yesterday) taunted me showing me a screenshot of his bank account with $40,000 in it. He bragged saying if he wanted to he could pay off the past due balance but doesn’t care to.

The best thing to do is to call the child support enforcement office in your state (I'm assuming that is who served him) and ask them for updates. When they see that it's been more than 30 days, they should refer it to a case worker who will then take more steps to go after him.
