This will not change the Search History settings within the Windows 8 Bing Application. Search history WILL persist across any/all instances of your Windows 8 Bing application and also to the web experience (Bing.com), but search history SETTINGS will not persist between the application and the web experience

The problem with that is that stackoverflow only allows specific issue questions so the results never are general about how to learn a topic. I'm trying to search excluding stackoverflow.com from my search results. Searching on Bing how to do it, including Bing Chat, I'm told to use -site:stackoverflow.com. This doesn't work.

2023年9月28日 · I am having the same issue and it doesn't matter, if I use Edge with Bing as my search or Bing with the Google browser. Steps already taken to try to resolve the issue: Disabled AdBlocker. Disabled McAfee web protection. Cleared the cache. Cleared the history. Restarted the computer. And, of course none of those steps resolved the issue.

To earn the 1000 points in the daily streak puzzle, you will need to complete at least 3 searches in Bing Search without missing a day to obtain a puzzle piece. The leading preposition in was indeed dropped from many of the Bing search results while Google's algorithm happily supplied not only the complete phrase but the phrase with nested quotes on the actual title of the play; e.g. in "Entertaining Mr. Sloane".
