2008年5月27日 · The best setup for the autotracking camera, in my opinion is to use one or more of the hardwired alarm inputs to the PTZ and link these to the an alarm output on the DVR. The DVR output can then be triggered by motion detected on one or more of the fixed cameras and cause the PTZ to swing round to the target location.

2012年9月1日 · Auto tracking never works plus. you have to read the warranty you will be hard pushed to find any auto track that will go 12 months warranty. if you buy a good PTZ with multi alarm inputs and use sensors like GJD. will give you the same result of auto tracking. standard PTZ will have 1-2 even 3 years warranty.

2007年1月3日 · well there are the analog ptz's that have the auto tracking in the camera and they a network camera which is also auto tracking capable. so where you talking about a nvr commanding the presets over the network and back out to through a network interface (decoder) out to a analog ptz? If so then I am not sure.

2017年11月14日 · I'm not sure what the model number is, but its a 2MP 18x Zoom IP Onvif 2.0 PTZ Camera. It doesn't have Auto Tracking built in, it only has Cruise, Auto Pan and Pattern functions. At the moment I have a couple of fixed IP cameras fitted close by, they have been set up to trigger PTZ presets when motion is detected on my Technomate NVR.

2010年10月28日 · No, most PTZ Cameras do not provide "tracking" capability. Some rare models do, some you can add separate hardware to the PTZ to do it, and some you can work it inside the DVR software utilizing other methods - eg using a fixed camera, that would track the object and the results it obtains would tell the PTZ where to move and zoom to, such as on Geovision DVRs but with only specific PTZ models.

So it may actually come down to adding PTZ control logic where one could instantly determine if the current PTZ control was fired manually or automatically for auto-tracking purposes. Don.
