2022年1月7日 · After dell bought Alienware they just became dell's high end pre-built brand. The cases have terrible airflow and come with proprietary motherboards that will only work in that case and power supplies that will only work with that motherboard.

Honestly, as a first gaming PC I think Alienwares are great: you receive them ready to be turned on and used for gaming. They have decent customer service. I've had 2 Alienware PCs and the parts were always excellent quality. But Alienware has issues to consider longer term.

Also, if you know what a good gaming/streaming PC build would be that consists of either a 3070-3090 Ti GPU, 2TB+ M.2 SSD, i7/Ryzen 7 or better CPU, 2x8GB/16GB/32GB RAM, and between $1500-$2300 (the more under $2300 the better lol) that information would be greatly appreciated!

2023年1月5日 · From what iv experienced so far in 25 years of gaming is that Alienware Laptops tend to be much better build quality than their desktop. Both use proprietary motherboards but build appears much better in the laptops.

2021年12月6日 · My biggest complaint about modern Alienware is they've limited themselves to smaller form factor PCs. But I greatly prefer larger tower desktops with more space available like the Area 51.

2022年8月29日 · Lenovo laptops in general offers good for bang for buck, but their premium line-ups are now on par with Alienware. From what I have seen, Lenovo laptops with the same processor always gets slightly higher benchmark scores than Alienwares, but that's a slight lead, but I ve seen it consistently for the past couple years. HOWEVER, after sales support, Dell wins by a LONG MILE !

Alienware is a premium brand, some of their products might be overpriced but mostly it’s justified and I would’nt mind paying the premium price at all because they make the most beautiful, aesthetically pleasing and out of this world designs then be it Laptops or Monitors.
