2022年12月9日 · Because airbnb are for residential not commercial bookings @Nemesio4 . If I book my place for a photo shoot or film shoot I would never do it through Airbnb. you need a proper contract/liability insurance for the film maker etc. @Nemesio4 . And they should be paying commercial rates .

There are several companies in the US that offer STR insurance, but be advised it can be much more expensive than homeowner's insurance as there is more risk.

Typical Homeowner's policies do not cover a STR as operating an Airbnb is considered a commercial business and your Homeowner's policy will not cover the Airbnb. I believe State Farm offers STR insurance along with a handful of others. (Proper, CBIZ, Foremost etc.).
