2020年8月3日 · Coming from an "old school" 144hz TN gaming monitor (BenQ XL2411), I don't notice a huge difference in gameplay between the refresh rate bump. But of course, it's way better image wise. I also think this refresh version works better on lower hz, which was an issue on VG27AQ, which according to reviews has poor/less performance when on 60hz.

Uninstall your GPU drivers from device manager. Uninstall your Nvidia control pannel. Restart your device.

2021年1月23日 · I got a asus VG259QM about 6 months ago. I was using 240hz but I checked and found out I’m actually running at 144hz. I don’t know why this is the problem. I have checked nvidia control panel and the windows settings options and I don’t actually have the option to up it to 240hz. I don’t know if has disappeared.

2023年2月20日 · Usually it has to do with the monitor having HDMI and DisplayPort but one is rated for 144hz max and the other can do the 165hz. For example, you are using HDMI but that is only rated for 144hz on your monitor and to get the 165hz you’ll have to use the DisplayPort. That’s how it is on a lot of monitors.

2020年2月23日 · I emailed Asus support to clarify before ordering this monitor, but a rep responded with a link to the product page on their website that says it has "16.7 million colors" which could mean either 6-bit+frc or 8-bit. I do notice a difference between 240hz and 280hz, but I think if a 1440p 240hz ips monitor comes out I will probably get one.
