The twin-engine Airbus A321F is one of the most versatile aircraft in its class: Being able to carry containers in the main deck, it offers fast loading and unloading and therefore enables very efficient flight operations.

The A321P2F can carry up to 28 tonnes of payload. With a longer fuselage than the A320P2F, it offers 28% more volume that is especially of interest for the fast-growing express and e-commerce markets. With 24 positions on main and lower deck, the A321P2F is the only viable 757 freighter replacement.

Lufthansa Cargo customers are able to book their cargo on converted A321 medium-haul freighters. The Airbus A321F has been part of our fleet since spring 2022. We now employ four of these medium-haul freighters.

The A321 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) conversion is the first freighter aircraft in its size category to offer containerised loading in both the main (up to 14 full container positions) and lower deck (up to 10 container positions).
