2024年7月26日 · Above: John Balow, with what will soon be his ultimate dream car, is in front of the actual dealership building where he first sets eyes on the ’70 ‘Cuda that he tried to buy in the fall of 1969. Well, here’s a rare chance to do just that.

The ultimate goal was to restore the car to a factory original condition where ever possible. Our restoration plan including doing the disassembly work ourselves, and then have someone complete the metal and paint work. Following completion of a restored rolling chassis, we would then complete the reassembly.

2017年12月21日 · Unfortunately, the 'Cuda needs the majority of its body restored (floor panels, trunk, quarter panels, possibly the firewall, frame-rails, etc.). It does run though, but the engine definitely needs some work done to it (it has a 340, not matching numbers with the rest of the car).

During the restoration, MCR impressed me with their extensive fabrication skills (custom sway bars, custom engine brace, starter heat shield, unibody structural reinforcements, reinforced suspension components) and their high tech diagnostic equipment which allowed them to identify and resolve car operational issues.

This 1972 Plymouth ‘Cuda restoration was done in 1984 and still looks great. We are OK with customizing old muscle cars, but this is one that had to be brought back to as close to original as possible with only 55,000 miles to date.

2017年7月24日 · We’ve got a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in the house! The ’70 Cuda is a pretty rare car that has been brought to us for a full body restoration. Top Notch Towing took care of the tow, and brought us the Cuda already on an automotive rotisserie. Having the car on a rotisserie is a perk, as it makes the refinishing process a little easier.

2020年8月17日 · The first step of any restoration is evaluation, disassembly and then chemical stripping. This is where the MCR team learns what’s good, what’s bad and what can be repaired. It involves the complete disassembly of the entire car.
