Kursk (Russian: Курск, IPA:) is a city and the administrative center of Kursk Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Kur, Tuskar, and Seym rivers. It has a population of 440,052 ( 2021 Census ) .

Kursk was a Project 949A Antey (Oscar II-class) submarine, twice the length of a 747 jumbo jet, and one of the largest submarines in the Russian Navy.
