Incorporated in 1903, the City of Arlington is located in northern Snohomish County approximately 10 miles north of Everett and 40 miles north of Seattle. The City of Arlington is situated at the forks of the Stillaguamish River.

2025年2月1日 · The Nature Haiku Poetry Contest is presented by Arlington Arts Council. Prizes are $50 for first place , two categories, Youth up to 17 years, and Adults age 18 and older. Contest ends January 27, 2025 at midnight.

To celebrate these special winter residents, Arlington hosts an annual Eagle Festival. The eagles return to feed on salmon that have come to spawn in the clean river gravel. The eagle also preys on the snow geese that are feeding in the agricultural fields in the floodplain.

Community special events might include, but are not limited to, fun runs, auctions, parades, fairs, and events in parks and on public property.
