2024年7月2日 · The Iowa 80 Trucking Museum was a dream of Iowa 80 Truckstop founder, Bill Moon. Many rare and one-of-a-kind trucks and trucking memorabilia are on display. Iowa 80 Trucking Museum is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of antique trucks and trucking artifacts so that the history of trucking may be shared with the general public.

Free museum of historic trucks at huge I 80 truckstop. We stopped at the largest truck stop in the world as part of the 5,000 travelers that do each day driving along I-80 between Iowa City and Davenport. It was started in 1964 by Bill Moon and his wife in 1964 and has expanded so many times that it can now Accommodate the parking of 900 semis.

2024年12月30日 · Beginning soon after its 1979 opening day, the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum has hosted an annual Jamboree attended by thousands. The museum in Walcott has more than 100 antique trucks on display, including an 1890 Standard Oil triple wagon; a 1903 Eldridge; a 1910 Avery tractor/gasoline farm wagon; and a 1911 Walker Electric Model 43.

Iowa 80 Trucking Museum is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of antique trucks and trucking artifacts so that the history of trucking may be shared with the general public. Visitors are able to see trucking treasures dating back to 1903, with over 120 vehicles on display, antique gas pumps, vintage signs and more.
