Sources: Cal defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon is leaving to become the linebackers coach for the New Orleans Saints. He spent seven seasons at Cal, the last five as the defensive coordinator.

Proving that nothing lasts forever, Peter Sirmon has left the California Bears football coaching staff and good friend Justin Wilcox to become the linebackers coach for the New Orleans Saints and their new leader Kellen Moore,

The Saints are expected to hire Bo Davis to coach their defensive line. Davis will become the third college coach the Saints have hired to their defensive staff.
