H-E-B opened a new e-commerce fulfillment center in Houston this week geared at supporting curbside and delivery orders in the metro area.  The 100,000-square-foot, stand-alone facility at 4520 Holmes Road is H-E-B's third such center in Houston as the Texas grocer aims to meet the growing demand of people ordering butter tortillas and Meal Simples virtually.

H-E-B opened a 128,000-square-foot grocery store at 20017 Bridgeland Creek Parkway in Cypress in October. That store anchors the 23-acre first phase of Village Green at Bridgeland Central, which is part of the 925-acre urban core of the 11,500-acre Bridgeland master-planned community.

The stand-alone facility will support digital and in-store customers throughout Houston and surrounding cities.
