Thursday’s bipartisan National Prayer Breakfast, where President Donald Trump affirmed he now “much more strongly” believes in God, went off the rails once lawmakers closed their Bibles and opened their social media accounts.

A West Michigan parade will have a shorter route this year in response to safety issues in other parts of the U.S.

The decision is in response to “evolving safety concerns at large events in our country,” according to a Tulip Time press release. The press release referenced the attack on New Year’s Eve celebrations in New Orleans, where a vehicle entered a parade route and killed 15 people.
