Several vehicles were damaged Friday when what Massachusetts State Police described as "concrete debris" fell from the ceiling of a Boston tunnel, resulting in damage and considerable traffic backups.

As of 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, state police had responded to 414 car crashes and 321 car assists over Valentine’s Day weekend.

State police said the Mercedes driver noticed the cruiser and cut through a gas station to avoid stopping at a red light.
