CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) — Defending champion Scottie Scheffler has committed to play in this year’s Travelers Championship, according to tournament officials on Tuesday.

The tournament benefitting Tiger Woods’s foundation was moved from Los Angeles to San Diego due to the wildfires.

Scottie Scheffler has committed to the event in June, the tournament announced Tuesday. Scheffler held off Tom Kim to win the Travelers in a playoff last season, finishing 22-under par.
