Arkansas senior first baseman Bri Ellis has been named D1 Softball National Player of the Week after a career weekend during the Razorbacks’ five run-rule wins at the LA Tech Classic, the publication announced Tuesday afternoon.

In yesterday’s column sharing the news Ava Kuszak and Jordy Bahl had received the B1G Co-Player and Pitcher of the Week honors respectively, I couldn’t resist a little jab at the conference for not awarding both of them the recognition outright.
