Steve Coogan has revealed that he is filming a new season of Rob Brydon comedy 'The Trip' in a bid to avoid a driving ban.

That changes when a young Irish woman approaches him about a story of her mother, Philomena Lee (Dame Judi Dench), who had her son taken away when she was a teenage inmate of a Catholic convent.

The Philomena actor wrote to a British court to argue against the driving disqualification because it would jeopardize The Trip‘s plans to shoot this summer and put crew members out of work.
