Hawaii's Kilauea volcano began spewing volcanic activity this week for its 9th time with no injuries or damage reported.

Livecam footage from Hawaii shows a fountain of lava shooting out of Kilauea Tuesday morning, as the volcano continues its weeks-long eruption.

Kilauea volcano began shooting lava into the air once again Tuesday on the Big Island of Hawaii. This is the ninth episode of eruptive activity since Dec. 23, the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said.

Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, has been erupting on and off for nearly two months since it burst to life on Dec. 23.

The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park erupted again on February 11, marking the ninth episode in a period of activity that began on December 23. The USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory raised the volcano’s alert level from “advisory” to “watch” and its aviation color code from yellow to orange.
