The Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2025 was unveiled last night at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, bringing exciting news for London's culinary scene. A total of ten London restaurants were awarded their first Michelin star, while two establishments elevated their status to two stars.

The only female-led restaurant to win a star this year was Caractére. Behind the Notting Hill restaurant is Emily Roux, a generational talent who has cooking in her blood. She owns and runs Caractére alongside her husband, the chef Diego Ferrari, whose named appeared next to hers during the ceremony.
