Google is rolling out a bunch of Gemini features for free, including a new model that offers a more personalized experience. The downside? You need to connect your search history to the AI.

Gemini won’t access your search history for every query. It will only do so if it thinks that it will be helpful. It most likely won’t access it if you’re asking a general question. However, if you’re looking for a vacation spot or for fashion advice, then it’ll most likely thumb through your searches.

Not only was it one of the first to offer the tool, but it's now also making it widely available to all of its users ahead of competitors like OpenAI.
