Rumors suggest the Google Pixel 9a launch is right around the corner, with leaks hinting at a March 26th ship date. Although we have nothing official from Google, we’ve seen plenty of leaks about the company’s next midrange smartphone.

The Google Pixel 9A is getting a partial price hike according to a new leak from Android Headlines. The phone will start at $499 for 128GB of storage, the same price as last year’s Pixel 8A, though there’ll be a premium to pay for the 256GB version: that will apparently cost $599, an increase of $40 on the 8A equivalent.

A new leak claims that Google's budget-friendly Pixel 9a will be receiving several freebies that the main Pixel 9 family already receives, possibly making it an even stronger contender for our best cheap phones list.
