Claressa Shields, the undisputed world champion in three weight classes, has been suspended in Michigan after testing positive for marijuana following her title defense earlier this month.

The Michigan Unarmed Combat Commission suspended Claressa Shields after an “oral fluid sample” showed the presence of marijuana.

The boxer took to social media to address the temporary suspension, stating, "I've never smoked weed," as she awaits trial.
