Indian equity benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty50, closed slightly lower on Tuesday as continued foreign fund outflows and weaker-than-expected corporate earnings dampened investor sentiment.The 30-share BSE Sensex slipped 29.

Research at Hensex Securities, bulls are accumulating at lower levels, and we are witnessing the Nifty 50 and Sensex rebound from their current crucial support at 22,750 to 22,800 and 74,800, respectively.

The BSE Sensex closed at 75,967.39, down 29.47 points or 0.04 per cent from its previous close on Tuesday. NTPC, Zomato, Power Grid and Tech Mahindra were the top gainers.

At 11:30 AM, the Sensex was down 353 points or 0.5 percent at 75,643, and the Nifty was down 127 points or 0.6 percent at 22,832. About 801 shares advanced, 2,567 shares declined, and 121 shares were unchanged.

Broad-based selling pressure dragged the Indian stock market in the early trade of5. Sensex erased as much as 645 points to hit below 75,300 levels, while Nifty 50 nosedived by about 204 points to breach the 22,

The BSE Sensex closed at 75,996.86, up 57.65 points or 0.08 per cent from its previous close, and around 702.10 points higher from the intra-day low of 75,294.76

The S&P BSE Sensex lost 458.91 points to 75,480.30, while the NSE Nifty50 shed 145.70 points to 22,783.55 as of 9:42 AM.

The Indian stock market ended trading on Tuesday in red. While the decline remained marginal, the indices settled in the negative territory. This decline was attributed to outflows from foreign investors and a slowdown in corporate earnings which dented the sentiment among investors.

The 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex declined 29.47 points or 0.04 per cent to close at 75967.39. The NSE Nifty went up by 14.20 points or 0.06 per cent to close at 22945.30.

The BSE Sensex was trading at 75,613.32, down 383.54 points or 0.50 per cent. Nifty stood at 22,815.85, down 143.65 points or 0.63 per cent. Small and midcap (SMID) indices fell 1-2 per cent.
