February brings another round of winter weather to New York City for President’s Day weekend. Forecasters from the National Weather Service say New Yorkers will likely see a wintery mix of snow, sleet and ice rain on Saturday.

Goodman explained that as New York City rests on the northern fringe of this winter system, areas further south are more likely to see elevated snowfall amounts. As of Tuesday morning, Staten Island is forecast to receive 2 to 3 inches of accumulation from this storm, according to Goodman.
