Police activity disrupted the CTA Red Line after an incident at the Sox-35th Street station Thursday night. Trains were not running between the Roosevelt and 63rd Street stops as of 10 p.m. Shuttle buses were requested, the Chicago Transit Authority said.

A 13-year-old boy and a man were shot on a CTA Red Line train on the city’s South Side. The shooting happened around 9:50 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of West 35th Street. Police said officers responded to a call of a person shot on the train.

Police have released surveillance images of the robbers, and asked anyone who recognizes them to contact CPD public transit detectives at 312-745-4706.

As yellow tape took over the inside of that train car, police were seen taking pictures where several evidence markers were placed on the ground near the train doors.
