With more than 700 hp and combined with wild aero like the 911 GT3 RS, the new GT2 RS should be a track monster

According to a new report, orders have opened. Considering the claimed delivery date, a reveal could be happening sometime this year.

Oh, it’ll be some box. The current 911 GTS deploys what Porsche calls a ‘T-hybrid’ system, which marries a newly developed 3.6-litre turbocharged flat-six with a pair of electric motors – one in the eight-speed PDK gearbox, one to spool up the turbo – for a 534bhp total.

Anticipation builds for the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS, which may exceed 739 bhp, following the 991-generation model.
