New York City's new area code has been revealed, officials said. The new area code will be 465 and cover parts of Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx and the Marble Hill neighborhood of Manhattan.

A new area code is coming to New York City. As approved by the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC), the new all-service area code will include parts of Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and the Marble Hill neighborhood in uptown Manhattan. The last addition was in 2011, when 929 was added to the area code roster.
