Nine people have died following dangerous flooding in the state, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has confirmed.

Flooding has inundated a swath of Southern states over the past 48 hours after more than 6 inches of rain fell in some areas.

Several roads in Muhlenberg County and surrounding areas could be affected by floodwaters as heavy rainfall continues to hit parts of Kentucky. The map below shows these areas that could be affected.
